About Jen Kaczmarek

I live just outside Seattle, which is a haven for all of my passions: Coffee, hiking, kayaking, and, of course, good books and good theater. Other random skills I have include knitting, playing the piano, and creating financial reports.

In my other life (prior to writing), I worked briefly as a reporter and then, for a more extended period, in finance.

These days, I spend most of my time writing. I have a short story published in an anthology, several plays that have been performed locally (and in a few random pubs!), and I’m currently querying a historical fantasy novel. I also have another work in progress that I’m pretty excited about.
